Q-57 Pressurized Aerial Combat Helmet (PACH)

The Q-57 (PACH) is a time-tested and abundant starfighter helmet, second only to converted civilian equipment that entered circulation during the first interplanetary war. Originally manufactured in the United States, many of these helmets are owned second-hand from military surplus. It's distinctive air intake and rebreather have given the Q-57 nicknames like "Goblin", "Dognose", or "Kobold"- but the most common and respected is simply "Bull". This particular helmet is owned by callsign PSYCHOUT, a member of the R-41P "Le Retour" squadron in the Alliance of Democratic Outposts Volunteer Air Militia. The ADOVAM are, in theory, citizens militia that protect the ADO from raids; but in practice they are robin-hood like privateers that plunder from errant luxury and cargo ships and bring the spoils back to the outposts.
